Corn Tortilla Spritz


I love Mexican food. I could eat it every day. I'm salivating just thinking about it. I also love corn tortillas, but wasn't loving all of the calories that came with the oil-warmed kind. My mom once showed me that you can actually spray or rub water onto the corn tortilla before warming it in the pan instead of oil. It turns out just as scrumptious and so much more healthy than when it is done with oil. Just use a nonstick pan. SO GOOD.

That's really a good idea.

Another cool thing way to heat corn tortillas is the contraption I have...a bamboo tortilla steamer. You put it on top of a pot filled with boiling water, and voila!

Corn tortillas are so much more delicious when they're not all sopped up with oil. I do this water thing myself - works great!
